Greetings! My name is Savannah, I started my social work journey working with children and their families after earning my bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama ( Roll Tide) and my Master’s in Social Work through Boston University. I have explored many areas of social work and began my career in Child Protective Services. This allowed me to work individually with children, teens, and families. Through my experience with child protective services, I discovered my passion for aiding children and adults through their unique life challenges and experiences.
Life can be challenging and it is my goal to provide a safe, carefree, and judgment-free space where others can work through their goals, whether it be self-esteem, relationships, school difficulties, career challenges, managing challenging emotions, or navigating difficult life transitions.
As a therapist, I believe mental health is connected to everything in our lives, our ability to respond to stress, find a sense of self, grow healthy relationships, and maintain good mental health, physical and balance in our everyday lives.
