My primary goal is to empower you, I truly believe that you are the expert on you! Our first few sessions will be focusing on making sure we really get to know each other, as well as share the same language when it comes to your symptoms, experiences, and goals. From there on out we will jump in to the work together! I primarily work with young adults entering college or experiencing life for the first time, couples where neurodivergence is present, and individuals trying to find what it means to be them, whether that be their gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, etc.
I emphasize working from a Polyvagal theoretical approach which focuses on the mind/body connection and how this affects trauma healing, anxiety, and depression. Further, I focus on those experiencing later in life diagnoses of ADHD and the effects that a later in life diagnosis can have, especially in couples.
As a therapist, I believe that therapy is a beautiful space that allows us to heal in a neutral space when we are too tired to walk alone. I focus on creating a judgement free environment that is inclusive to all. I view my role as one where I am being invited to walk alongside you at this time of your life.
