As a therapist, I would describe myself as empowering, passionate, & intuitive. My approach to therapy is influenced by how societal norms and expectations make you feel like you have to limit or repress your uniqueness and your authentic self. I believe in creating a therapeutic environment where you can liberate your inner child through honoring your cultures and dismantling oppressive systems. One of my strengths as a therapist is my dedication as your personal advocate. I often work with the 1.5 immigrant generation and young adults from marginalized communities who are coping with loneliness and exhaustion from the world.
I am passionate about helping clients navigate their various identities & find a sense of belonging by tapping into suppressed anger caused by systemic issues. I prioritize community building, creativity, & strengthening your relationship with your intuition. I strive to help clients who feel like outsiders recognize that they’re more than enough and deconstruct and decolonize the cultural and societal messages that led to the internalization of these beliefs.
