Are you looking for a nonjudgmental place to feel safe and heard? In my work with clients, I place emphasis on meeting people where they are, building relationships, and empowering people to have agency over their lives. Through psychotherapy and creative expression, I can help with self-discovery and development of coping skills to help work toward personal goals. I can be a partner in discovering patterns that may be present in one's thinking and within interactions with others, as well as assist in strengthening communication skills. I use a combination of therapy approaches while adapting to what one may need on any given day.
I have 20+ years' experience working in human services, including 10 years training/experience as a Behavior Specialist. I can offer psychotherapy with an emphasis on behavioral interventions including principles such as motivation/reinforcement, developing schedules/routines, and strengthening self-control via artmaking. I can also offer parenting support.
