What is psychotherapy, and why would you want to receive it? For me, psychotherapy is communication. It is a means of reflecting you back to yourself in a way that is instructive, enlightening, and healing. My approach is mindfulness-based, in that I believe that mind, body, and spirit are all connected, and healing cannot be broken down into component parts. Sessions focus on self-awareness, combined with "talking story" and understanding more about your history, needs, and feelings. Together, we work toward knowing you at a deeper and deeper level.
