Therapy is an intentionally created space for whatever it is you need - a place for goal setting and accountability, a container for recovery, repair and forgiveness, a room for grieving, a safe space for developing self compassion and deepening vulnerability. It is my honor to accompany you on the journey - to truly see you, hear and understand you, and care for you as you navigate the difficulty of being human. I work with: couples in all relationship styles, individuals aged 13-99, and family therapy where everyone in the room is above age 13.
My work with couples includes developing trust, understanding patterns, repairing relational wounds and rebuilding connection. I have advanced training in Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy and PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy). Couples are able to resolve gridlocked issues, decrease conflict, and deepen intimacy.
My work with individuals starts with a focus on compassion for self and others along with self awareness. I specialize in working with adults who were raised by emotionally immature parents, men who struggle with emotion and relationships, and individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. My style is direct, authentic, humorous, and warm.
