As a clinician, I enjoy working with clients as young as 4 years old and those well into adulthood. I strongly believe that clients are the experts on themselves; my job is to partner with clients to better understand their needs and help guide them in building skills to help them manage their day-to-day stressors and challenges. I am often sought out to help clients with behavioral and emotional needs, process grief, and address childhood and/or complex trauma.
I work with children and their caregivers through the use of play-based techniques. I also use mindfulness to help clients be more in-tune with their emotions and bodily responses to daily stressors, and through acceptance commitment therapy, I help clients embrace and cope with grief.
