I became a therapist because I believe in the power of healing and growth through our personal stories in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. As a therapist, it is my goal to create a space where I can provide a compassionate and empathetic listening ear while my client navigates through their personal story. I believe that people are experts in their life and each person has their own strengths we can use to implement new strategies for change and growth. Everyone experiences stress, overwhelming emotions, and various forms of trauma throughout life.
My counseling philosophy can be best described as eclectic, person-centered approach as each individual has unique needs. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with unconditional positive regard for my clients that will help facilitate personal growth and empowerment.
I specialize in working with adults, healthcare providers and high-stress professionals, life transitions, secondary trauma, medical trauma, stress management, anxiety and depression, and self-esteem. I spent over a decade in the healthcare field and have a special heart for working with and supporting the helping and healing community.
