I have been working in the social work and therapy field for 10+ years. I have worked in a variety of environments with a multitude of populations. I am a believer in unplugging and truly getting to know your strengths, weaknesses, and values. I mainly come from a framework of Existentialism, especially finding meaning in life, and living authentically to our values. I am a proponent of the mind-body connection and use mindfulness in therapy. Although Existential and Mindfulness Therapies are my framework, I use an integrative approach which is a mix of therapies depending on what will best help each presenting difficulty.
My integrative approach includes: Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Person-centered, and more. I support adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, finding meaning, discovering identity, relationships, trauma, and more.
In therapy, we will work together to dig deeper into what makes you who you are now, and create goals for the future. We are on this journey together. There is no person, therapist or otherwise, who has not dealt with the suffering of human existence. I believe in creating a non-judgmental, collaborative, empathetic space where clients can truly be heard.
