Therapy does not have to be difficult or scary. The Lewis Practice takes a balanced approach combining support, warmth, empathy, and humor (when appropriate). Life offers challenges and we figure out different ways to cope. Some coping skills are better than others and talk therapy can help you choose the healthiest ones. We work with Adults, Children, Adolescents, Families, Elite Athletes, as well as people in the LGBTQ community.
I have a general practice and several specialties. I work with all ages and stages. My specialty areas are trauma and I work a lot with elite athletes.
Therapy is about personal growth, returning to a sense of peace, and feeling better about whatever is a challenge in your life. I know I am not the right therapist for everyone. I think is important to laugh when it is appropriate and work hard. I am not a fan of suffering for suffering sake. So I am more than happy to help someone work to feel better.
