My goal as a therapist is to help you live a more meaningful, vital and fulfilling life. Using mindfulness-based therapy, we will work together to help you gain a deeper level of awareness and understanding of yourself, process trauma, learn skills to reduce stress, handle painful feelings and thoughts more effectively, break self-defeating habits, overcome insecurity and self-doubt, ease life transitions and experience more satisfying personal relationships.
My areas of focus are trauma, women's issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, and spirituality. Specialized training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
As a Utah native, I am passionate about the outdoors and helping individuals tap into the healing power of nature.
