Hello and welcome! My name is Sarah, I’m an independently licensed social worker, and I’ve been working in the field at a masters level for over 8 years. I first became interested in the work of therapy because I genuinely enjoy connecting with others on a deeper level, and helping my clients better understand themselves and their journey, particularly in those difficult moments where life just isn’t making sense. If you're feeling overwhelmed or overcome by many different obstacles right now, or you'd simply like to talk through a certain challenging experience, you've come to the right place.
My primary goal in therapy is to create a warm and welcoming environment, where my clients not only feel heard and supported, but are empowered to challenge any thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve them. I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, but find I most commonly engage with CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
