I received a Master of Social Work from Aurora University with a major in geriatrics. I work with adults through the many transitions of life. In the family-building years, I help new moms with challenges such as anxiety, fear, guilt, negative relationships, addiction, family conflicts, trauma, and other distressing emotions that impact one’s ability to function. With older adults, I work on managing transitions like retirement, downsizing, family and friends moving away, and chronic or terminal illnesses. These life experiences often bring on depression, anxiety, loss of identity, and even loneliness.
I understand how stressful life can be, how we can feel lost, and the courage it takes to reach out for support. I want you to know, I am here to help you and you can feel better. I have worked with many clients who have felt a sense of hopelessness that have worked through their fears and learned to find peace and purpose again.
My goal is to help you identify negative thoughts that are keeping you stuck and adopt new positive thoughts to move forward through your journey.
