When conflict occurs does one partner need space to process and the other want to talk things out? Can this difference cause even more issues in your relationship? Has there been cheating, family conflict, or other pain points impacting your marriage or relationship? Are you wanting peace in your relationships and can't figure out how to achieve that beyond what you have tried already? I help couples and individuals understand their negative pattern, then create the change they desire.
I have extensive training in an evidenced-based modality called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT uses the power of direct and vulnerable interactions to build bridges towards understanding of the brain and body experiences that fuel our relational dynamics.
Starting therapy can be exciting and unknown; most people want the therapist to quickly understand their issues in the relationship. To help expedite understanding of the disconnect and begin creating change, new couples are offered an opportunity for a 5-hour first session where my attention is solely focused on gaining traction in the distress.
