I specialize in supporting family dynamics and attachment challenges. Many times, parents and children experience disruptions in their attachment, leading to changes in their family dynamics that can have a profound impact on their physical and mental health. The primary goal of our sessions is to reestablish more secure family patterns where attachment and caregiving responses become more effective and emotional bonds are repaired. My mission is to help families thrive by providing the tools and guidance necessary to build strong, lasting connections that foster overall well-being.
The EFFT therapist leads by framing the family's problem in attachment terms and normalizing the family’s distress as arising out of an attachment crisis. I help individuals realize the family problems arise from the attachment struggle- not individuals. This helps the family to begin viewing their problem as a pattern instead of blaming themselves or others
The quality of your relationships and your family relationships is your quality of life. I appreciate the time and energy you are putting forth to revitalize your connections to yourself and others in your life. Life is all about connections, and when we feel a secure attachment to others, our mental health and vitality are rewarding and purposeful.
