I specialize in working with adolescents through adulthood for concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral difficulties, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, school concerns, and life transitions. My primary focus is trauma and I most often view clients through a trauma lens. I utilize somatic information processing to conceptualize clients with a strong neuro biological and neuro developmental influence. I utilize humor most often and have a unique way of connecting with even the most reluctant teenagers.
I am very passionate about trauma and how trauma impacts children's brain development. I am well versed in many trauma-focused techniques including EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and believe that doing the hard work to address trauma can change the course of an individual's life.
