Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness. ― Brené Brown. I believe that we are all oriented toward connection and belonging. To allow for this, many of us have brilliantly adapted to cope with life's traumas and hardships. From our relationships with food and our bodies to how we participate in relationships with others, I believe in a compassionate and deeply curious approach to rediscovering ourselves. What would it look like to truly know ourselves and to be known?
I am a fully licensed master's social worker with 20 years of experience. I am a Health at Every Size advocate and passionate about body inclusive and LGBT+ affirming healthcare. I am also a mother, a co-parent, and a partner. I am IFS informed, trained in Brainspotting and EFFT. I am here to support you in living your most authentic, wholehearted life.
Your relationship and rapport with your therapist / clinical supervisor is a strong indicator of successful outcomes in treatment. In addition to psychotherapy, I have advanced training in clinical supervision for LLMSWs and LMSWs. My goal is to meet you where you are at and walk alongside you on your journey with a client-centered, integrated approach.
