Sarah believes that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist, the client and their family, that allows children and adolescents to be able to meet their full potential. She believes that each individual is unique and the therapeutic process can be tailored to meet their needs. Children and adolescents are able to develop tools and skills to help them process and address the challenges the face through the therapeutic process. Children and adolescents benefit from a person to explore their emotions, process transitions, and develop self-esteem and confidence. Therapy can help build lifelong coping skills and tools.
She provides a safe space for children and adolescents to explore their deepest emotions and challenges, and a space to explore family concerns, peer pressure, social anxiety, peer conflict, and self esteem. Children and adolescents build coping skills and resiliency through play therapy, EMDR, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral therapy.
