New for fall 2024...parenting anxious children group! Do you feel like anxiety or OCD is holding you and your family hostage from living the life you want to live? Is OCD or anxiety impacting your relationships, school/work, or daily routine? I have over 12 years of experience and specialized training in treating anxiety/OCD. In 2021, I became trained in the SPACE approach helping parents of anxious children. SPACE is particularly helpful if you have an anxious child who refuses to go to therapy or hasn't found therapy to be helpful. I am also trained in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD/phobias.

I am licensed to do telehealth sessions in PA, OH, NC, and MA and for in person appointments my office is in Pennsylvania. l will teach you concrete skills to become unstuck in order to start living life again. I take an active approach in treatment have an expectation work will be done in between sessions in order to make the fastest progress.

Typically, I do not see children without a parent in session. I will educate about how anxiety works and its impact on the brain/body in the initial sessions. Then discuss how anxiety is disruptive and identify what skills you are lacking to manage your anxiety symptoms. Then together we will talk, in a very concrete way, about how to strengthen those skills and interrupt anxiety patterns.
