My goal is to help clients liberate stuck consciousness and help them re-member their true selves. I provide a neutral ground to clients and my primary focus is working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression and impacts of trauma. I see my clients as the expert in their own lives and therapy as a chance to reconnect with their inner resources, and what gives them purpose and meaning.
I believe in the power of the imagination to aid in healing trauma and creating meaning in our lives. With an eclectic approach, I include processing of earlier life experiences, expressive arts, EMDR therapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, humor, and nature as a metaphor, depending on my clients' needs and goals for therapy.
