I take an engaged and collaborative approach in my work with clients. Many people have reported feeling more comfortable with this approach, especially after experiencing therapists who seem to offer little feedback. I am committed that my clients achieve the changes they want. Everyone is unique, and therefore I tailor our work together based on your needs. Some people see me for long periods and others do shorter pieces of work on specific issues. All of our meetings take place online so that you can receive therapy from the comfort of your own home. You can expect a warm, caring and safe space to explore your life and goals.
I have worked extensively with people in transitional stages of adulthood. I help people moving through college into the world of work, those struggling with career choices, work stress, relationship challenges, or making peace with their identity thereby increasing self-esteem. I help people find freedom in their relationships and in themselves.
I come from a background in two of the most effective schools of psychotherapy. The first is known as Person-Centered therapy. This focuses on the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I then integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a proven method to treat depression, anxiety and interpersonal stress.
