I am an LICSW and I work with adults who are seeking an improved quality of life. I am judgment free and very open-minded, and I believe strongly in human capacity for change. My main goal is your progress, and I may challenge you a bit along the way but I will always treat you with warmth and compassion and I will always be honest and transparent with you.
My approach is geared toward an individual's personal motivation, whether they are beginning to contemplate change, they are open to learning new coping strategies, or they are ready to understand and shift patterns of behavior that are no longer serving them in a positive way.
We will work together to explore what approach(es) are effective for you and your personality. I try to use humor at times to bring some levity to the process of uncovering feelings and self discovery in a way that feels comfortable and approachable to you.
