Connecting with others and with yourself can feel muddy and anxiety provoking, especially in childhood, navigating teenage years, and into young adulthood. My experiences working in schools, agencies, and private practice spaces allows me to have a multi-faceted approach to truly cater therapy to your child/teen's circumstance. I use a trauma-informed, interpersonal approach so that clients can feel safe to show up exactly how they are, without any fear of judgement. As therapy is a group effort, I use expressive techniques such as art and play based therapy in order to make processing tough emotions easier!
I enjoy working as a team in order to build on existing strengths, form new bonds, identify thought and behavior patterns, and to create deeper connections. As no two people are the same, I aim to make therapy personalized as well. I am passionate about making therapy applicable to your world and your specific situation!
