In my practice, I see adolescent and adult clients for a variety of mental health concerns from anxiety and depression to relationship problems. I use a collaborative approach to help clients determine how to increase their happiness and fulfillment. Together we discuss the underlying issues that led to their present difficulties and the current changes they need to make in order to improve their lives.
I also specialize in negative body-image and eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder. I utilize Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size principles to help clients heal their relationships with food and their bodies.
I work from an Integrative model, which utilizes the beliefs and techniques from several theoretical backgrounds, depending on the needs and desires of my clients. My interventions have strong Cognitive-Behavioral underpinnings, which has been supported by research as a validated treatment for a variety of mental health conditions.
