Imagine being in therapy for years and not feeling like you get anywhere. The problems continue and you just feel stuck.... That is how many of my patients feel when they begin therapy with me. While I cannot issue a golden guarantee, I utilize evidenced-based techniques to help you unstick yourself. You can expect to make a treatment plan and have it reviewed quarterly. The treatment planning process helps us get on the same wavelength to see the next steps. I offer in-person and telehealth services. I love telehealth because I can see you in your natural environment, gaining insight into your life faster than inan office setting.
I specialize in difficult cases where patients have given up on acquiring mental health. Oftentimes, a doctor will require a patient to be in care to receive meds. This is where I come in: I will help you gain insight without feeling like you are going to the dentist (sorry DDS professionals!). I use CBT, DBT, ACT and other techniques.
My purpose in this world is to help people find wellness through therapy. I have a talent for kind bluntness that is given with permission and often humility. I am not a perfect person, and I bring you my own insight that is combined with theory and technique. Also sarcasm, I also bring appropriate amounts of sarcasm to your day and brighten your smile.
