For whatever reason you are considering therapy, my role is to help guide you on your individual journey to balance acceptance of yourself as you are while also accepting that it may be time to change. I specialize in supporting folks who are feeling blocked from accessing creativity, navigating life changes, helping professionals experiencing or wanting to prevent burnout, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse or other complex traumas, and awkward artsy adolescents. I also teach master's level counseling students and provide clinical supervision and clinical consultation.
The foundation of our work starts with building a safe place to consider your goals. I use a variety of approaches to support healing including EMDR, Ego States Therapy, Art Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Internal Family Systems informed interventions. Some of these modalities may sound intimidating, but I have an easy-going, down to earth approach.
Creative expression is essential to me and I am excited to invite you to share my studio space. No art background is required. Our focus will be on healing, self-exploration, and growth, different than an art lesson. I can also see those who prefer a more traditional office setting or want to bill insurance directly at Stillpoint.
