I am a licensed mental health counselor. My experience is with those struggling with eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, trauma, dual diagnosis, and more.
I use a mix of approaches that help you understand where your problems come from and how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. These methods have been shown to be very effective in creating positive change.
I became a therapist because I know positive change is possible & I believe in people’s abilities to turn their lives around. It may feel impossible but its not, a change of heart, mind, and some help can do a lot of good. I was once in therapy myself and credit this as the reason for me being here today, I couldn’t do it alone & you don’t have to either.
