As a child counselor, I create a space and build a relationship with your child that allows them to feel safe, organize experiences, and build skills to help your child thrive. I believe that every child has the ability to heal, solve problems, and develop a positive self-concept. I also believe that parents/caregivers are the most important part of the counseling process as they are the most important relationship in the child's life. I collaborate with parents/caregivers to create strategies to better connect with and support their child.

I work with children ages 3-12 and their families using Child Centered Play Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy. I create an enjoyable, developmentally appropriate experience through utilizing play and creative arts techniques. I also use neuroscience and attachment theory to help you better understand the "why" behind behaviors and how to best address them.
