Hello, my name is Sarah Betts. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working in Seaford, Delaware. My work experiences have allowed me to assist children, adolescents, and adults with mental health struggles. A perspective that I hold to is that life can be challenging but there is no need to go through it alone. Another belief that fuels my work is the acknowledgment that there can be negative situations but there is always an opportunity for redemption and a good outcome. I work with older adolescents and adults who want or need a change in their life but might not know how to go about it.
Those I work with need to be ready to do the work to bring about change. Unfortunately I am not a miracle worker and can't make the changes for you. My primary interests are in working with young women battling depression, anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum emotional management. I do also provide counseling services to men.
I believe to have complete healing the mind, body, and spirit must be addressed. I am a Christian and I use the the Bible in combination with evidenced-based counseling techniques during my sessions. As a therapist, I listen, support, and provide a judgment-free safe place to help process your needs. I look forward to joining your journey towards healing.
