It can be hard picturing yourself being completely vulnerable with a stranger, I know. One constant in my treatment delivery: openness, acceptance, and transparency. I have worked in a variety of settings treating MH & SA. I am not that therapist that hands out bullshit worksheets & expects it to be healing. I want to genuinely connect with you, and use this connection to collaborate in goal setting. I am a secular therapist. The best way to get me is message (the thought of talking on the phone makes me physically ill)
I know it can be hard finding a new therapist, or even a therapist for the first time. My main objective is to make sure you are feeling like a human with another human in the room. I don't think many people have a space in which they can exist completely free of judgment and feel understood. I try to make therapy feel that way. ...I am also sometimes funny.
