Hi! My name is Sarafina (she/her). I am dedicated to supporting teenagers, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief and loss, workplace or school issues, and stress. My approach to therapy is person-centered and wellness-focused.
I use various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness-based techniques, solutions-focused therapy, trauma-informed strategies, and motivational interviewing. By integrating these approaches, I aim to meet each person’s needs while embracing the unique traits.
I strive to create an affirming, collaborative, and holistic space where people can be their full selves. Individuals have internal strengths often uncovered during their mental health journey. In therapy, we rely on these strengths, work toward full acceptance of one’s true authenticity, and develop new coping strategies to manage life’s stressors.
