Hi! Seeking therapy is a huge (and maybe even scary!) step in a positive direction-and it's also a step that requires a ton of courage. I am so glad you're here. Today, it's not uncommon to feel disconnected or disheartened by the day-to-day routine or expectations of society. I work with individuals who are interested in shifting perspective and reengaging with the world in a way that feels best for them. When we are safely connected to ourselves, we can safely connect to the world around us. Together, we can bravely face challenges and build a life of vibrance that we all deserve.
As a somatic, or body-based therapist, I take a holistic approach to work with clients to bring awareness to the leading role that the body plays in emotional and behavioral health. Depending on the needs and wants of each client, we may use interventions that employ mindfulness, movement, or present-focused skills.
In my practice, my goal is to always bring compassion, humor, and warmth to each session. I am committed to working at each client's unique pace with an understanding that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. I will show up to sessions with an open heart with the hope that clients can feel empowered to show up exactly as they are.
