My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental place for all of us to be real. In a world filled with perfect images and expectations, it's easy to lose sight of who we actually are and where we want to be. Life is filled with ups and downs. It's a privilege helping people navigate through the journey in a compassionate way. I enjoy working with clients aged 14-100 who need help with self-esteem, boundaries, anxiety or couple dysfunction. Now offering Friday appointments.
I view therapy through an Acceptance and Commitment Theoretical (ACT) lens. By identifying what our values are and committing to the actions and thoughts which are aligned with those values, growth can occur. Besides treating couples, I also enjoy working with individual adults, senior citizens, personality disorders and court-mandated clients.
Counseling can provide a safe space to explore oneself and seek out meaning. By visiting the past we have the ability to learn, heal and grow. When we apply that we've learned to our present, change can occur that moves us towards our goals. I look forward to taking that first step with you. Currently seeing clients in person and onlinel.
