My mission is to create a healing space for you to feel safe and understood. I specialize in helping people recover from trauma, eating and body image issues, addiction, anxiety, and depression. Together we make sense of seemingly illogical or out of proportion reactions and responses. I believe even the most challenging parts of our personalities are creative adaptations developed to help us survive, and that true healing involves honoring these parts of ourselves, while working to find beneficial pathways in the present.
I incorporate a variety of modalities in a collaborative and integrative style. As my client, I will help you learn to calm and soothe your nervous system so you can feel more safe and secure. From that safe place, we will gently explore your patterns, and create space for you to be more present and fulfilled in your current life.
I work from a strength-based perspective, honoring each person's healing capacity. Together we will help you develop a generous toolbox to skillfully cope with life's ups and downs, and navigate your own challenging emotions and urges.
