Using cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT), I help people learn how to hone their thinking and reaction. CBT helps people look at their patterns of behavior and learn better skills to cope.
Psychological evaluations to diagnose and provide recommendations are also a specialty of my practice: I am also a certified school psychologist. I evaluate for psychiatric conditions, learning disabilities, ADHD, and other issues that can complicate daily life. Recommendations for IEPs, 504 plans, and standardized tests accommodations are often an outcome.
I have been a New York licensed psychologist for over 20 years. I frequently work with children and teens with anxiety, behavioral issues, school issues, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I also work with adults with anxiety, depression, executive functioning and organization issues, ADHD, and parenting/family issues. I look forward to meeting you.
