Mental health has always been an integral part of my life. My passion has been inspired by my own experiences, guiding me towards a path where I can support others through their personal journeys of growth and healing. We are each shaped differently by our own individual experiences, and as such, our mental health and recovery may also look quite different! It is my belief that you are the expert when it comes to your own experiences, which is why I take a person-centered approach to therapy. This can be an intimidating process to begin, and it’s important that my clients feel as comfortable and supported as possible.
My practice emphasizes the importance of building trust and creating a mutual understanding of therapeutic goals. I will provide an environment that is casual and easy-going so that my clients are able to fully explore and work on the various life challenges in a way that is best suited to their needs.
I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices with a special focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based therapy, and solutions-focused therapy. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients from diverse backgrounds and recognize the importance of acknowledging the unique barriers and challenges that my clients might face.
