I work with adults who are ready to explore their internal world. Many people feel ruled by their thoughts and emotions, but haven't yet had the opportunity to take a step back & truly examine beliefs, values, and inner experiences which influence them. I use a strengths-based, acceptance approach, coupled with cognitive techniques, to assist you in shifting your perspective and feeling more empowered and self-loving. I enjoy working with people who are ready to become curious about their identities and past experiences which have shaped their current lives. The goal is for you to feel more self-kindness, compassion, and love.
Whether you are dealing with a chronic mental illness or are completely new to therapy, I am here to meet you where you are. It is my role as a therapist to stand alongside you, as you are in the driving seat of your life, no one else. I use a combination of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches to help you meet your identified treatment goals.
It would be my honor to work with you. Life is challenging, and we all need support to get through the storms. I am happy to speak with you for a brief phone consultation to see if my therapeutic approach is right for you.
