Hello! I'm Sara Gaertner and I've been working as a therapist for nearly 10 years. I am trained as a social worker and take a person-in-environment approach to therapy. This means that I want to understand the many aspects of your life and how they impact you in order to help you improve your quality of life. I worked in a state prison for 7.5 years which exposed me to a wide variety of human experiences and taught me that healing can be found in even the worst of situations.
I try to create a comfortable therapeutic environment where you can speak freely about your life. I enjoy helping people live in alignment with their values and beliefs. In therapy, I will encourage personal growth, emotional healing, and honesty with yourself.
