As a culturally-responsive trauma-informed therapist, I provide compassionate and effective care to adults and adolescents ages 13+ residing in the DMV. I offer virtual and in-person therapy sessions to accommodate diverse needs. My experience in TF-CBT enables me to help clients both manage mental health symptoms like depression and anxiety, while if relevant, process and manage traumatic experiences. I do so by also incorporating somatic experiencing (SE) to help clients process memories and emotions in a safe and embodied way.
My ongoing training in attachment theory informs my approach to building a secure therapeutic relationship while promoting healthier attachment patterns outside of therapy.
Finally, with a deep understanding of the immigrant experience, I am equipped to support clients who may be navigating systemic challenges, multicultural relationship issues, and intergenerational trauma. My goal is to empower you to develop resilience, self-awareness, and a sense of hope and direction for the life you want to live!
