I offer individual counseling for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorders, as well as significant life changes, relationship issues including Latino families of LGBTQAI individuals and grief and loss. I also specialize in elderly issues, Latino acculturation, immigration and ethnic issues.
I work from a Humanistic Client Centered perspective, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative and Existential strategies. I have worked with the latter for more than 20 years and in private practice for 11 years. I have been blessed to see a majority of my clients learn to find inner strength, build self-esteem and live with dignity and hope.
