I truly believe that you are the expert of your own life and my goal is to not alter your experiences, but to support you in understanding what is happening that is causing distress, discomfort, or the feeling of being unsettled. Together we will build a therapeutic relationship and space that allows you to work on identifying goals for yourself and integrating them into your life without judgement, pressure, expectation, or a timeline. Through this journey I hope to empower you, to help facilitate progress towards your goals, and to help you grow both externally and internally.
I have worked in a variety of treatment settings with different populations. Some of my previous experiences include working with children and families in the foster system, individuals diagnosed with cancer or end of life issues, and individuals with (both) trauma/medical trauma. Currently, I work with individuals in recovery who have a dual diagnosis.
I recognize that life can be challenging and understand how difficult it can be to take that first step in seeking therapy.
