Hi there! I'm Santiago Ramirez. As a counselor, I have worked with clients who came in for trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, LGBTQIA+ related issues, gender, sexuality, and grief and loss. I have had considerable experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community. As a counselor, I believe it is important to provide a supportive space and guidance to help a client go from surviving life to living life.
My approach to therapy includes techniques from Collaborative Therapy, DBT, CBT, EMDR, and SFT. My goal is to work collaboratively with clients to help them grow and fulfill their ambitions, as well as provide a safe space for open expression.
Everyone has the potential to grow and to heal. As your counselor, we will work together to develop a path of change that works best for you. Even though I have graduated, I am forever learning and researching areas of counseling for the benefit of the client. It would be an honor to be a part of your journey of self-exploration and healing.
