I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York state with many years of experience with both individual and emotion-focused couples therapy to people of all ages and from various different backgrounds. I typically work with those experiencing depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, relationship issues, addiction, OCD, ADHD, life transitions and personality disorders. I also work with clients experiencing complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) or complex trauma, utilizing attachment-based therapy.
Within attachment-based therapy, I work with clients to better understand and explore their early childhood experiences and how they become deeply embedded in our body memory. I help clients process and learn how this impacts us in our adult life and as we go through our life cycle.
With my clients, I aim to be caring, compassionate, and understanding. I value being with them in their experience, and through my solution-focused approach, I believe that the more time you focus on solutions, the more solutions will come to the surface and become apparent in your life. In my work, I also draw from resource-based therapy and mindfulness.
