I have provided services to diverse population of people. A bulk of my experience lies with Children. I am well versed with Middle school age children. As a female, I love providing counsel and therapy to women about shared experiences on women's issues. I am also able to work with the elderly, minority communities, and men. I also believe that everyone is deserving of Affordable Mental Healthcare especially individuals who live in low socio-economic communities. It is proven that minorities in low socio-economic communities in particular, experience chronic stress regularly. Those individuals deserve all the benefits of Therapy.
I am trained in the psychodynamic approach to counseling. Clients have told me I am very personable. I am easy to talk to and I am a great listener. What I do to ensure that my clients feel heard is by creating an open environment (conversationally of course). In that environment I allow my clients to say whatever they want or need to say in that moment.
