Most of us know that even the healthiest of us need at some point in our lives an outside perspective or guidance into our inner selves to resolve many issues that we have not been able to do on our own. Therapy can take many forms from "personal growth work " (i.e. becoming a better person or reaching personal goals not yet achieved) or in dealing with life crises, wrong choices in the past effecting today, life transitions or mood problems such as depression, grief, anxiety etc. am also helping people deal with covid and all of it's implications.
I have over 40+ years experience and retired from St Joseph Hospital outpatient mental health after 38 years. I have taken varied specialized training courses and workshops. Bariatric surgery patients are welcome. I also enjoy working with late teen and young adult clients who are going through so many life transitions.
I offer a supportive experience andI use humor and visual imaging in my some of my work. I use creative work sometimes in sessions and I encourage you to bring in artistic expressions in any form that helps yourtreatment.
