I specialize in working with parents of adolescents and have over 25 years of experience helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising teenagers.
I began my career as a counselor for high-risk youth and have worked with a broad spectrum of adolescent populations: Children identified as intellectually gifted and talented, children with special education needs, children with a variety of mental health concerns, and many children simply walking through the challenges of growing up in a complex world.
My style is warm, calm and optimistic. My approach is strengths based and solution focused. I work as a therapist in private practice, I am also a former Minnesota School Counselor of the Year (2019). I am here to guide and support you as you parent your teen with love and confidence.
