We all experience stressful events, but if these have started to affect daily life functioning, it is time to get help! I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have successfully used these approaches to help teens, adults and families suffering from depression, anxiety, abuse, conflict and PTSD.
Stress and trauma come in many forms (family conflict, abuse, accidents, violence, difficult life transitions) and can affect us via anger issues, problems sleeping, lack of concentration and irritability. I utilize relational, brain-body and mindfulness based approaches when working with clients.
