As a counselor, my goal is to provide therapy to clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, ADD/ADHD, grief/loss, and life transitions. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and identify as an ally of this community. It is my hope that my clients will be able to learn the skills they need to live a life driven by what's important to them. I encourage all clients to enter therapy with an open-mind and to work towards personal growth and being the most authentic version of themselves. My personal philosophy is that counseling is more effective if it is client centered and collaborative. Primarily, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients achieve their treatment goals. I also use skills and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed, and Trauma Informed therapy.
Reaching out for help and trying to find the right therapist can be frustrating, I seek to make the process as simple as possible. I currently offer both in-person and Telehealth sessions.
