I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am currently taking on new clients virtually through Headway. I want to start with what it means to be in therapy. Therapy is a journey to wellness and helping you paint the future you want. Therapy is about helping me, help you. I do not have magical answers to solve all your problems. I have strategies and training in being able to empower you to help yourself through a client centered, cognitive-behavioral, trauma informed lens. When you work with me you sign up to be challenged and empowered to change your own life.
Through our work together, we will partner to be able to help you build the life you want. I cannot promise that it will be easy, but I can tell you that it will be worth it. Together, we will help you identify goals for your life, challenge your old ways of thinking that have been holding you back, and connect your thought patterns to your behaviors.
We will also examine your attachment style, and how it shows up in your relationship with yourself and others. All while understanding the way that trauma affects the way we think, feel, and act. I will challenge you, but I will never push you. When you’re ready, I’m ready! Let’s go.
