My name is Samuel, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach working with men who struggle with anxiety, dating & relationships and communication. As a therapist, I’ve worked with children all the way to elder populations on anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief & loss. The past 4 years, I've focused on Asian-Americans or 1st, 2nd and even 3rd generation children because of my journey growing up with immigrant parents in the US and the challenges associated with that as well as to provide culturally competent care in the mental health field which is often lacking.
My approach is gentle but direct. I provide a safe, warm environment for you to be your true self. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard and empowered to take positive actions. At times, we will spend the session unpacking stressful situations in your present or past. Other times, I will use direct techniques to facilitate emotional healing and release.
In our first session, you will deeply seen and heard and that someone finally gets you. You will begin to feel clarity, lightness and a grounded sense of positivity around your presenting issues.
